Hello!
Finding a therapist can be challenging, after all, this is your life and struggles, and you want someone who is supportive, experienced, and empathetic. Taking the first step to connect with one is a meaningful and important start.
About Me
My journey into psychotherapy and counselling was driven by a deep passion for helping people unlock their fullest potential. Having personally experienced the transformative power of therapy, I have witnessed its profound impact on the lives of those I support.
I approach every client with positivity, compassion, and patience. While we may begin as strangers, trust builds quickly, allowing us to develop a meaningful and supportive working relationship.
Over the past 22 years, I have worked across diverse settings, including front-line NHS services, the voluntary sector, and international humanitarian organisations. For the last nine years, I have focused particularly on supporting individuals who have faced trauma, relationship challenges, and areas of addiction, anxiety and depression.
At the core of my practice is acceptance and respect—I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you as you explore your choices, feelings, and possibilities. It takes courage and determination to work toward a more fulfilling, happier life. If you’re ready to take that first step, I am here to support and empower you.
As a licensed psychotherapist and former Head of the Department for Mental Health at a leading international non-governmental organisation, I bring thousands of hours of clinical experience working with individuals and professionals. My practice is rooted in a commitment to fostering growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
Qualifications: I hold a Master’s Degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, and a Postgraduate Qualification in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, both from the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust in London. I also have a number of other trainings, including CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), SFBT (Solution Focused Brief Therapy), PST (Problem Solving Therapy), PM+ (Problem Management Plus), Trauma Informed Care, Reflective Practice, Critical Incident Debriefing, and Gender, Diversity & Intersectionality.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
With extensive experience working across a wide range of issues—including crisis settings and managing mental health services for people with complex needs—you can trust that you’re in capable and compassionate hands.
I work with a wide range of clients, and everyone is different. I treat anxiety & stress, depression, addiction, including online porn, sex and substance misuse, trauma, men's issues, relationships and major life changes. My therapy and counselling work in an open-ended, client-led way that means you decide how long, or how short the work we do together is, and what subjects to cover.
I work predominately on-line for UK and international clients
